The Cemetery Commission is responsible for the management of the town cemeteries of Westlawn and the Old Burial Ground. It sets policies and regulations, such as those for use, cost, and management, and appoints employees (such as a superintendent and grounds keeper) to perform daily operations. It also helps coordinate special projects, such as restoration of the historic monuments at the two cemeteries, with other town boards.
