Be sure to check the TOWN CALENDAR for updates. Note that the official posting place for meeting agendas is the bulletin board outside of town offices. In compliance with Open Meeting Laws, agendas must be posted 48 hours prior to a meeting.

Friday – April 7, 2017

Last day to apply for Town Boards appointed by the Board of Selectmen

Applications are invited from residents of the Town of Littleton for the following Town board positions appointed by the Board of Selectmen. Application forms are available at the Office of the Board of Selectmen/Town Administrator, Town of Littleton, 37 Shattuck Street, Littleton, MA 01460 or online at http://www.littletonma.org. Completed application forms should be returned to that office by no later than Friday, April 7, 2017. The Board of Selectmen is scheduled to interview applicants and make appointments during the month of May 2017.

  • Zoning Board of Appeals: Two (2) alternate member positions for terms expiring 6/30/2017 and 6/30/2018;
  • Sustainability Committee: Two (2) members for an indefinite term.
  • Conservation Commission: One (1) member position for a term expiring 6/30/2019
  • Shade Tree Committee: One (1) member for an indefinite term.
  • Historical Commission: One (1) member position for a term expiring 6/30/2018
  • Agricultural Commission: One (1) member position for a term expiring 6/30/2018

Board of Selectmen

6:30pm, Room 103 (Town Offices)

  • Public hearing for input on a proposal for special state legislation to allow the BoS to issue two additional all alcohol package store licenses anywhere in town.

Library Project Public Information Session

7:00pm, Littleton Police Station

  • The architect for the library project will present info on the library design, and the architect, the Library Director and Library Trustees will take questions from the public.

 

Tuesday – April 11, 2017

Last Day to Register for Local Election and Town Meeting

per http://www.sec.state.ma.us/ele/eleifv/howreg.htm “The deadline to register to vote in any election or regular town meeting is twenty (20) days prior to the date of the election or meeting. The deadline to register to vote in a special town meeting is ten (10) days prior to the special town meeting.”
